Dear Colleagues

English language skills are important the world over, but never more so than in England itself.  They are essential for work, civic participation and supporting children's education.

Those arriving in the UK and needing to improve their English skills will normally seek out an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course.  However, provision has changed over the years.

Join Alex Stevenson, NIACE's Head of ESOL, in a webinar where he will outline the current context of ESOL in England in terms of practice and policy and encourage reflection on language provision internationally.

The webinar will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, 20th October, 2105) at 1pm Brussels time (CEST).
